"Nothing" Post

I thought I had better post something since I hadn't for several days. People will start talking about how I never update my blog!

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to report....I really haven't gotten anything new to post so far as papercrafting or scrapbooking; I've been working on a couple of swap items before I go to bed.

Other than that, Friday Allison and I went to the library and the thrift store to see if there were any "treasures"; Friday evening I went to home jewelry party put on by Allison's preschool teacher (coincidentally); Saturday morning I went to Clay Center to a Sunday School Teacher's Workshop; church on Sunday; yesterday was spent piddling here and there, not sure what I did, was supposed to tutor in the afternoon after school but they never showed up. Allison had her second day of preschool today as well as her second dance class. She had a ball at both of them. I think she was pretty tired when she returned home.

Tomorrow we are going to have a playdate with one of Allison's friends, and then she is going to her Marysville grandma's house for her weekly playdate...we moved it from Tuesday to Wednesday afternoon when school started; otherwise, Tuesdays would be very long for Allison.

It is going to get pretty busy from here on out again, it looks like. Not only am I going to start Homework Center at the library again after Labor Day, and teach 3rd & 4th grade Sunday School at church, but I have been asked if I want to take over Family Storytime at the library again this year. I used to do it when I worked at the library before Allison was born. I really, really enjoyed it, so I said I would do it. I will be paid for 3 hours per week, i think, which includes the actual storytime and some planning time. I also already have 5 days scheduled to substitute teach at GSLS! My calendar is filling up pretty fast.

I went up to the church this morning while Allison was at school and cleaned out the Sunday School cabinets...as best as I could I suppose. I threw away dried markers and broken pencils, but I'm not sure when to do with the extra leftover Sunday School materials from years ago that we will probably never use.
