1. I cut cardstock to fit the CD jewel case...think of it as an insert. I have been cutting 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 inches.
2. I use Microsoft Publisher to create my calendars. I do the wallet size, and if you work with the print options I have been able to fit 6 wallet size calendars on one piece of 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock. I remember seeing somewhere that there are websites where you can also print off calendars, but I don't have those links.
3. I look at the monthly calendar as a mini layout, and the wallet calendar is like the picture, and I embellish around it. Whatever pleases your eye, or is your theme.
4. To make it work, take a plain CD jewel case and take the lid off, flip it around, and put it back on so that it looks likes a "stand". Then just slip each month in as you want to use them. I give them in a bundle tied with a pretty bow.
