Finally....finally finished...well, at least with the first six sets of these! :) I usually make a set of CD calendars for my friends at the library...and I always seem to cut it very close to Christmas, which I did again. I say that, but I guess I actually still have 4 days to go, huh? LOL
When I started out, I was ambitious, and actually did six different designs of January and February, but starting with March I uniformed all six copies. I had to get in a rhythm, I guess. January is done with the Base Camp Cricut cartridge.
I bought a whole set (12) of the Hero Arts monthly stamp sets. I really like them, but I can't seem to get them to look like I want them to. February was stamped using one of them.
March is where I started to uniformly design them. I used the Paper Dolls Dress Up cart for the pot of gold and the shamrocks border. Added Stickles to the gold to make it look shiny.
One of my newest Cricut Cartridges I have used is the Stretch the Imagination, and I found that I used it a lot on these pages. Here the bunny painting on the egg is from StheI.
This design is also from Stretch the Imagination. There is a card feature, and this is the overlay for the card. I really like it.
The paisley design is also from Stretch the Imagination.
The little grasshopper on the grass blade is from Stretch the Imagination using the silhouette feature.
These little ladybugs were made using Walk in the Garden, along with the bread tag feature, too.
Another item from Stretch the Imagination (the apple tree).
I'm not sure I like the ribbon I added, but I was trying to find something different to use as an "fluff" embellishment.... The pumpkin man is from Stretch Your Imagination.
I like the simplicity of how this one turned out. The turkey is from Doodlecharms.
