Allison was supposed to be making her dance debut the night of Black Squirrl Night a couple of weeks ago, but it was cold and rainy and the dance instructor cancelled it. This week, the dance instructor let us know that because the kids had worked so hard on getting ready for the dancing that she was setting up Saturday, November 1, at the Methodist church parking lot for the kids to dance. Whoever could come, could come. Well, I had already committed to help judge high school debate tournament all day on Saturday, so I couldn't go. But Daddy took Allison up there. He said there were at least 150 kids there and then all of the folks who came to watch them. You can tell by the distance away that Daddy was to take the picture! Mom was sad that she couldn't go watch, too

Allison is in the purple pants and the white shirt. (Amy -- it's the "Dance Yourself Dizzy" shirt.)
Then, Daddy took this photo this morning of Allison right before he left for work. It was about 6:45 a.m., and thanks to daylight savings time ending, it was already pretty much light outside so she thought it was time to get up I suppose. Tomorrow morning when it's time to get up at this time to go to school we'll see how ready and willing she is to get up!
