Trick Or Treat

Here is my little princess....Snow White to be exact. Allison is dressed up and ready to go out trick or treating. I tried to curl her hair into ringlets. While it is cute, it is exactly like my hair....it won't hold a curl for anything. She is still really cute though.

Thursday, October 30, was Allison's Halloween Party at Preschool. Here are a few photos of her and her class at their party.

They had their snack before they put their costumes on....apples and caramel dip. Allison wouldn't even try the caramel dip, even though she likes it at McDonalds...."it's in a small package at McDonalds!"

We went and bought our pumpkin finally on Wednesday. We were able to get a pretty good one, but they were sure picked over, which was to be expected. Here is Allison getting ready to help me carve the pumpkin. This is the first Jack-o-Lantern carving experience for Allison. I've never been brave enough to try it with her until this year. Four seemed like a pretty good year.

She would use a spoon to help me get the gunk out, but she wouldn't touch it. .....I know preschoolers don't like to feel different textures, but I was still a little surprised that she didn't dig into it a little more.

Wa-la! Lighted Jack-O-Lantern, which she really liked. Yes, Grandmas, she is outside at about 8:30 at night without a shirt or socks on! I know, I know!!!!!
