How about some more examples

I have been sorting through my camera CDs. I have a Sony Mavica, which takes mini CDs instead of a memory card. I really like it except for the size of the camera. It's not easy to just tote around inconspicuously, but it sure makes archiving and saving pictures easier. I usually just try to print a thumbnail listing of all the photos on a CD and then house it in a page protector.

I found these photos of some family recipe books I scrapbooked last Christmas. I made 7 of them for my family members, and not one for myself! I am wondering if I will ever get one made for myself. I included scanned copies of my grandmother's recipes in her own handwriting! It was very special project for me.

This was when I was getting ready to wrap them up in their little gift bags. They were all the basically same layout, picture, recipes, etc. I just did some different colors and paper patterns.

Then here is the outside cover of one of the books. On the front cover I put a photo of my grandmother and grandfather. Then like I mentioned I included recipes from my grandmother, but also got recipes from the family recipients: my mom, sister, aunt, and three cousins along with a recipe from Allison and myself.

This is a new project that I found in one of the Papercrafts magazines. It is really cool. It is a wall hanging, and it is made out of drink coasters. Yep, like the kind that you can pick up at almost any of the restaurants like Chili's or something. So my family all pretty know to save me drink coasters. :) You can add as many as the letters in the word that you want to use....dream, love, learn, baby, etc. I made one with Allison's name on it. I cut out the letters using my Cricut machine, so that is great.

Then I had to add a picture of this one because I was pretty proud of it, and I thought it turned out pretty good. It is a paper piecing of the Very Hungry Caterpillar that I made for a swap for a Childhood Classics swap on Scrapbooking_Friends. I just really liked it!
