The kids in Allison's preschool class at school went to the local pumpkin farm today. It is just outside of town, and we have gone there every year ourselves, but it was fun to go with her kids and her classmates. Here is a picture of Allison's class: Conner, Aaliyah, Allison, Mrs. Harries, Rhett, Micah, Rook, and Thomas.

Here are the kids with Carol, the Pumpkin Lady, looking at and feeling the pumpkins.
Tonight we went to the Public Library for their Family Storytime. The theme this year is "Big Things Happen at Your Library," and so far pretty much all they have done or read surround dinosaurs. They made dinosaur hats (on her head). They draw a name each week for a prize. Last week was the first week we had gone so far this year (it just started back up again), and they are giving away inflatable dinosaurs (there are probably 5-6 of them). When we left last week, Allison said, "I sure wish I had a dinosaur" so of course we had to talk about not everyone gets a prize, we have to wait our turn, we don't know what will happen or what or if we get something etc. Well, this week, the lady called "Allison" and she gets a HUGE smile on her face and says, "Allison? My name is Allison!" She was very happy, needless to say. So here is a picture of Allison in her dinosaur hat and holding her much desired inflatable dinosaur.
