What's Up?

Hello...it seems like it's been awhile since I actually posted a "writing", not just a photo or whatever. Things around here have been....hmmmm...time consumming, I suppose. I won't get into it here too much, but I had some health 'issues' the past couple of weeks, and hopefully it is "fixed" now. I had an outpatient surgery last Wednesday, and had several days of R&R in order to get back going. I've had great friends and family watching Allison and running errands for me, etc. I certainly appreciate it all. Thank you very much!

I have gotten a few layouts done, and I worked on November recipe cards for swaps yesterday. I have to make some cards for a couple of swaps, and otherwise I am doing pretty good. I am still not very far with my 2009 CD calendars for gifts. I realize i have a lot of time i guess to get them finished, but i'm drawing a total blank with creativity on them right now (not good). I don't know.

The school had the fund raising auction today. There was a good turnout and items seemed to be going for very good prices; many many above retail or value price. It will be interesting to see how much money is raised. It is a very good fundraiser.

I took last week off from the Homework Center due to 'recovery' time but i have to go back this week. There were 16 kids there on Tuesday. I cannot even imagine what that must've been like. I've said all along that 10 is about the tops of what I think can be handled in a room of that size and by one adult. If this conitnues I am not sure what I'm going to do.
