"UP"

Allison and I went to the movie "UP" last Friday night here in town at the Astro 3 theater. The owner Alex had a really neat opening night promotion... In the movie, an old man attaches a HUGE amount of helium filled balloons to his house in order to make the house float to South America. So, in the movie theater were all these helium filled balloons. Then when the movie was over, there were a variety of prizes given away, all attached to helium balloons, including a bunch of 500 balloons (see below). Allison was lucky enough to have her ticket number drawn, and she received a king size candy bar attached to two balloons. All children attending the show received a balloon on the way out the door, too. It was a fun promotion, which provided for a really fun environment for the evening.
