"Allison-isms"

A couple of "Allison-isms" to jot down so as not to totally forget them.

Allison says really cute stuff when she and her dad are together, it seems. These were ones that he told he she said:

They were mowing and stuff together the other night down by the bridge, and there are some lilies/tiger lilies by the bridge. She asked her dad if he knew that tiger lilies roared when you weren't looking. He said no he didn't know that. How 'bout if they closed their eyes to see what happened. They closed their eyes and lo and behold, Allison goes "roar, roar".

Sunday we went to Manhattan and went to Target. I was shopping and looking around, and Allison and Bruce went to their little snack bar there. Bruce bought some ice cream for them. While they were sitting there, ALlison tells her dad, "Dad, ask me if I want a bite of your ice cream." Bruce says, "Allison, would you like a bite of my ice cream?" "Why, Yes, thank you, dad," and promptly starts eating his ice cream, too.
