Poor Miss Kitty

Miss Kitty is an indoor cat. Miss Kitty, however, loves and is intrigued by "The Great Outdoors." We try very hard to keep Miss Kitty indoors. She does, however, have a tendency to make brave escapes, especially when a four-foot little girl has the door open for extended periods of time (which she's not supposed to be doing, but you know how that goes).
Unbeknownst to me, Miss Kitty must've made one of her grand escapes sometime last evening. For this morning, at 4:45 when I could lie in the bed no longer, got up to go to the bathroom and review my Sunday School material for the day, hear "Meow, Meow, MEOW!!!!!" at the back deck door. I turn on the outdoor light on the deck, and sure enough! There is the "Great White Hunter" as Bruce likes to call he. She couldn't come in the house any faster when I opened the door.
I am just glad that she's alright, and I hope she didn't have any nasty run ins. We've had some "bad-looking" cats hanging around the property the past several weeks (she's spade, but still....); not to mention the coyotes, owls, and hawks...although it would have to be one bad bird to pick up this 14 pound cat!
I'm just glad P-Diddy is back safe and sound!
