Unfortunately, when we were packing up the luggage in the truck to come home Thursday mornng, I twisted my back a way that I shouldn't have done! :( I really wanted to go spring clothing shopping on the way back home on Thursday. We did make it to a couple of factory outlet shops, and I was able to get Allison a few things, but by this time I was in some serious pain. So, we had to come straight home.
Yesterday, Friday, found me laid up in bed all day, and today hasn't been too much better, although I am sitting upright in one of the living room chairs with the laptop right now. I find myself shifting a lot. Walking is another story. It 'ain't' prtty....I feel like I'm walking like an old lady all bent over... of course, Bruce calls me "old woman" anyway so this just plays into it.
It's not a lot of fun. My house looks like a pit! I finally went ahead and grimaced through putting the dishes in the dishwasher (since no one else knows how to do that) and wipe counters off. Everyone's luggage and shopping bags did get carried in from the truck only to land on the dining room table ! I tried to clean that up a little bit today. The living room floor is overrun with Polly Pockets that don't seem to find a way home unless Mom does it...(sigh)... they may stay there another day or two and I'll just pray no one comes to visit!!! LOL
