A Child's Year

I splurged yet again the other day. I've been trying to stay away from the Cricut messageboards or eBay or pretty much anything new Cricut cartridge related. I knew that they had released several new cartridges recently, but I hadn't done much in the way of exploring what they were.

Well, I don't know what I was doing but I ran across a write up about one of the new cartridges, A Child's Year, and it had some examples of the graphics. I was immediately in love! Oh sure, I suppose I could try and justify just about anything, but this is a perfect cartridge to have if you have a child, from young child/infant on up into adolescence. I don't know exactly what you would call the design but it reminds me of those profile pictures that a lot of pictures do in school of the young students, and they are Christmas presents for their parents....they are the black silhouette profiles that you see hanging on parents' walls. Well, that is basically what this is except many many different activities that children do throughout the year: birthday, valentine's day, Easter, playing in the sand/beach, 4th of July, etc etc etc. There is a card choice as well as a tag, and monogram upper and lower case letters, etc. I tried it out a little bit last night, but I am really looking forward to exploring and creating some more with this cartridge. Two thumbs up to this one!
