There is a drug store/variety store/scrapbook store in this little town called Downs, Kansas. It is about 20 miles from one of Bruce's radio stations at Glen Elder. I have been able to go to it a couple of times when we are out in that area. For a small town, it has a very extensive line of products, and it is a lot of fun to be able to stop there and look around.

An ironic twist on this situation is the fact that the owner and pharmacist of this store is the twin sister of the husband of my friend, Angie, here in Marysville. Kelly, from the store, is originally from Marysville. How ironic is that? So, when Kelly was going to conduct a contest at her store, she offered Angie the kits in order to enter the contest, and sent her two kits. Angie gave me one of them, and this is the finished project from the kit. The deadline to have the finished product is Monday, the 13th. NOTE: I was able to get it in the mail today, 7/11/09, via priority mail, so it should make it.
The winner receives $120 worth of product line, so it would be very cool to win. There were only 10 kits available so I'm assuming that is how many entries there might be...??? Hopefully I will have good news to post.
