"Regular" Update

This week has not been very much fun at our house. I would say there isn't much to report, but it's more like there isn't very much fun stuff to report.

I wokr up early Monday morning and unfortunately found myself getting sick, coming down that day with the stomach ickies that are going around. I was pretty much out of commission all day. Thank goodness Allison is of the age that she was a very good girl, and was able to keep herself occupied, etc. I tried to keep her away within close body proximity of me, hoping to ward off the germs from hopping over to her, but alas on Wednesday I was awoken at 5:00 a.m. to the cries of "MOMMA!!!" I knew right away that it didn't sound good. Sure enough...poor girl had gotten sick in her bed. Wednesday is not a school day, so she spent it on the couch, very listless and sick. She was sick for all the morning and into the early afternoon. She was starting to show a little perk last evening. I decided to go ahead and keep her home from school today, but when she heard me she was really mad. I spoke with her teacher, and we thought it might be okay for her to come so I took her around 10:00 so she could stay for about an hour. That was probably enough. Terry said she laid her head on the table when they were doing their art activity, and she was pretty easy to get to go upstairs for a nap today. Poor little boo! All I can say is it is SO HARD to see your baby being sick. OMG! I am so thankful that overall Allison has been so very healthy and it is only these minor ordinary illnesses that she has had.

We are headed to Manhattan tomorrow for her six-month dental check up with the pediatric dentist.
