After a little break in the hotel room, it was time to venture out again this evening. Walked a couple blocks from the hotel to a restaurant in the area (can't remember the name...it is some "chain" pub here on the West Coast, based out of Portland, Oregon. Unfortunately, it wasn't great, but we tried.... :) From there, we walked toward the Space Needle so that we could go up for a night view. We walked through the City Central, which has all sorts of different things...scatters of people moseying through the area. There was a big fountain area that was lovely with the white lights scattered in the trees. Here's Allison and her daddy....(my camera just doesn't take really great stil pictures unfortunately....I brought the video camera along because it's more compact).....
Nighttime photo of the Seattle Space Needle.

Nighttime view from the observation deck of the Space Needle at night, too. These pictures obviously doesn't do it justice.

And, Allison got to take a ride on a carousel. If given her way, she would still be riding it. At the price, it would have been worth it, too (only a buck a ride...the best value we've found of anything yet in Seattle :).
