We have officially hit that part of summer where I'm ready for it to be "over"....I need to get back into a routine that the school year provides. I am finding out since I began staying at home with Allison that I am not a very good person without a routine. If I have my little calender, and I can write down the same thing over and over each week on the day that it occurs, I do soooo much better. I try to do that in the summer, and to a certain degree it does happen. However, most of Allison's activities only last like 4 or 5 weeks at a time, then that spot on the calender opens up, and nothing necessarily fills it back up. (sigh) Pathetic, isn't it?
So, what happens is that I stay up until 1:30 in the morning doing this and that, playing on the computer, reading, watching movies, doing crafts or scrapbooking, then I can't go directly to sleep, and then when morning comes I do not want to get up. Then my morning is crappy because I have no motivation to get going, and then pretty much the rest of the day is crap, until I actually finally wake up fully at about 4:00 in the afternoon, and then the entire whole pathetic routine begins again.
Four weeks from today school begins! WOO HOO!!!
