Parade TIme

Allison rode in her first parade tonight.  Her school, Good Shepherd, always usually has a float in the Days of '49 parade over at Hanover.  I just hadn't felt that she was old enough in the past couple of years but this year she is.  She told me afterwards that she was nervous before hand, but as soon as she sat down then she wasn't nervous anymore.  "Mommy, I really had fun. I want to ride in another parade!"  Well the county fair is in a little over a month!

Bruce also helps announce the parade over the loud speaker in downtown Hanover with Pastor Fritz.  He will help again tomorrow evening, as they have a second parade on Saturday night, too.  He will actually broadcast the parade on the radio at that point, so I will stay in Marysville and work the board at the studio.  Allison will get to go with him and catch all the candy that is thrown.  It's always a HUGE bag, thankfully this year it will only be one night's worth, instead of two!!! :)
